How To Fix The Server Stumbled Windows Store Error 0X80072EFD??

However, the problem not necessarily needs to be at the Windows Store server end as it can be a problem with your PC or your internet connection. There is no go-to solution to fix the Server stumbled Windows Store error. However, there are few fixes that you can try to fix The Server Stumbled Windows Store error.

Fix 1: Restart Your PC

At times, the error could be a temporary error that might have occurred because some crucial sub-task might have ended unexpectedly. In such cases, a quick restart can fix the problem with your PC. So, perform a quick restart and see if that fixes the “The server stumbled” Widows Store error.

Fix 2: Turn Off Manual Proxy Setting

If you have the manual proxy setting enabled then turning off manual proxy setting can fix the server Stumbled 0X80072EE7 error in Windows 10. To Turn Off manual proxy settings, do the following.
Go to All Setting by clicking on Start button.

From Settings, click on Network and Internet.

Click on Date and Time in the taskbar (desktop right-bottom).
Next, click on Date and Time settings.

Now again you have to open Date and Time settings. So, click on Date and Time and then click on Date and Time Settings.
This time, turn on Set Time Automatically. Close date and time window and open Windows Store.

Fix 4: Stop/Start Windows Store Update using PowerShell

If the above fixes did not give any result and the server stumbled Windows Store error 0X80072EE7 persists then try the PowerShell method to fix it.
Open PowerShell window. To do this press Windows Key + R and type PowerShell in the Run dialogue box and hit enter. Alternatively, type PowerShell in Search/Cortana and click on Windows PowerShell.
In the PowerShell window enter the following command:
net wuauserv stop
This will stop Windows update service.
If you get Access Denied error, run PowerShell as Administrator. Type PowerShell in theCortana/Search, right-click on Windows PowerShell and click Run as Administrator.

net start wuauserv
This will start the Windows update service again. Now open Windows Store, and you should have the server stumbled error resolved.

Close Any Network Related App

The most common reason why the “The stumbled server Windows Store error” can occur is because a network related app running on your PC is causing problems with Windows Store server. For example, if you have installed Fiddler app and it is running while you are trying to use Windows Store or download any app from the Windows store then the Fiddler app can cause The Stumbled server error.
What you can do here is close the Fiddler app when you want to use Windows Store. If you are not using Fiddler app, then check Task Manager and see what are the apps that you can close.  Once closed open Windows Store and try to download the app to your PC.

Disable Antivirus and Firewall
