First of all I want to make clear that this is no complicated cracking or hacking stuff this is just a simple wifi password recovery trick with android device.
How to retrieve forgotten wifi password in android device
To go through this process your android device must have root access. So make sure you have rooted your android device unless you can’t retrieve lost wifi password. Retrieving lost wifi password in android device is easier than rooting it. If you don’t know how to root your device just Google it or visit XDA developers or watch tutorial on YouTube
1. Install ES File Explorer app in your device. If you don’t have it download it from Play store
2. Go to the following path /data/misc/wifi or else /data/wifi (Make sure you Granted root access to ES File explorer)
3. Now look for the wpa_supplicant.conf or bcm_supp.conf
4. Open the file with ES Note Editor
5. Now you can see the details about the wi-fi networks and where the word which is equal to psk is the password of the wireless network you are looking for.
That’s all it’s easy as a piece of cake. This is like just viewing wifi passwords on android device. Currently I’m using only one network.
